Our History

In the early 1990s, Brandon Steven began on an automotive path in Wichita, KS, while his brother, Rodney Steven, leaped into the fitness world. They both partnered together to form Steven Enterprises and have continued to grow ever since. Together, they have employed over 7,000 employees with their dealerships, fitness clubs, and other business ventures. Outside their professional accomplishments, they also take time to give back to the community.

The 1990s

1994: Rodney Steven purchased Genesis Health Clubs co-owned with Brandon Steven

1994: Brandon and Rodney formed Steven Enterprises, LLC

1996: Brandon purchased the original Brandon Steven Motors headquarters on West Street co-owned with Rodney

The 2000s

2004: Brandon Steven Motors purchased its first new car dealership, Subaru of Wichita

2006: Brandon and Rodney founded Genesis Foundation for Fitness & Tennis (GFFT)

2007: Brandon developed Suzuki of Wichita (he raised Suzuki of Wichita to the #1 volume dealership in the nation for 5 years straight)

2007: Brandon received the prestigious National Man of the Year award from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

2009: Brandon developed Ford of Augusta (sold in 2018)

The 2010s

2011: Brandon, Rodney, and Johnny Steven purchased The Wichita Thunder

2012: Brandon acquired the longtime Wichita franchise, Eddy's Toyota

2013: Brandon converted Suzuki of Wichita to Subaru of Wichita

2014: Brandon acquired a Chevrolet Cadillac store

2015: Brandon acquired a Volvo dealership

2016: Brandon purchased Lee's Summit Mazda in the Kansas City suburb of Lee's Summit, Missouri (sold in 2022)

2017: Brandon purchased a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram franchise

2017: Brandon along with his team at Eddy's Chevrolet Cadillac decided to add Lincoln to their car dealership portfolio

2018: Brandon opened the doors to his first fine-dining restaurant, 6S Steakhouse, in West Wichita

The 2020s

2020: Brandon ventured to the west coast and purchased Honda of Downtown Los Angeles

2020: Brandon launched KS Billboards

2021: Brandon partnered with Susan Peters in sponsoring Susan's Kids

2021: Brandon purchased Harbor Chevrolet and Harbor Hyundai in California

2022: Brandon purchased Jaguar Ventura, Land Rover Ventura, Honda of Reseda, Hyundai of Downtown Los Angeles, and Hyundai Carson
