Teamwork
Teamwork - No one gets ahead. No one falls behind. And all are
rewarded. This is teamwork!
Are you a team? What do you know about your teammates? Do they have brothers and sisters? What does their dad do?
- Be a risk taker - you can't doubt yourself
- Be a dreamer - no one ever dreams of going halfway - don't be content with mediocrecy.
- Dreams are where we want to end up - goals are how we get there.
- Goals are simply a means you use to reach you dreams.
- Success happens daily - we can always do more than we think we can.
- Motivated people raise the bar to supposedly unreachable heights.
- Never think "defeat". If you think "defeat" you are bound to be defeated.
- Practice hard. Perfect practice makes perfect.
Fraternity helps foster education by providing a forum in
which students must think, communicate, solve problems, synthesize
and analyze.
The fraternity is like a community of scholars, where each
person is equally a teacher and a leaner.
Whose job is it? This
is a story about four people. Their names were Everybody, Somebody,
Anybody and Nobody. Now there happened
to be an important job to do around the fraternity house. At a
chapter meeting, Everbody was asked to do it. Everbody was sure
Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did
it. Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybodys job.
Everybody thought Anybody could do it but Nobody realized that
Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed
Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
If everyone is moving forward together, then the success takes
care of itself.
Teamwork is the ability to work toward a common vision, the ability
to direct individual accomplishment toward organizational objectives.
It is fuel that allows common people to attain un-common results.
Together everyone achieves more.
None of us is as strong as all of us.
Teamwork
means more "we" and less "me."
Coming together is a beginning; Keeping together is progress;
Working together is success!
Diversity: The beauties of nature come in all colors. The strengths
of humankind come in many forms. Every human being is wonderfully
unique. All of us contribute in different ways. When we learn to
honor difference, and appreciate the mix, we find harmony.
Teamwork: People working together - building, linking, sharing,
lifting, pulling, supporting, helping, encouraging - can accomplish
anything. By uniting our efforts we can reach a higher goal.
Teamwork is the collective talent of many individuals.
Tolerance: the ability to be understanding of those with whom
you differ is a sign of sophistication.
